All around us, the shops are full of stressed out people bustling about trying to buy the perfect day for their family and friends and many lose sight of what Christmas means and what is really important.
It isn’t about big presents which land us with huge credit card bills in January, or consuming heaps of food which leads to us rushing to the gym in the new year in an effort to shift those excess pounds.
For many of us, Christmas is about being with our loved ones, taking time to relax and reflect on what really matters.
With that in mind, I thought this might be a good moment to stop all the rushing around, take a moment to breathe and take stock of the year just past. To take a little time to count my blessings and say a heartfelt thank you to my family and friends.
I would also like to thank everyone I have worked with this year. It has been an honour and I wish you all a happy and restful Christmas, however you spend it.
